Dear Friends of Crescent,
Another term has flown by and Christmas is almost upon us. At the time I write the younger children have already enjoyed their Nativity plays and all the children have enjoyed visits to the theatre. As always when we take them out they attract many compliments for their good behaviour. They were a credit to the school, their families and to themselves.
The two staged performances, by the children in Nursery and Reception and Classes I and II, were very well received by the many relatives and friends who came to watch. It is always a source of great pride for both teachers and parents to see the children perform to such a high standard; my congratulations to everybody involved.
I am also pleased to be able to congratulate those children who have recently completed their Times Tables Challenges:

Abigail Bolton, Amy Cook, Chloe Di Dato and Alison McLean – Golden.
Well done to them all.

The Nutcracker Performance
I would just like to say well done to all the dancers who took part in the performance of the Nutcracker, you all worked so hard and I'm proud of you all.

The Christmas Bazaar was a great success. Thank you again to everyone without whose support and generous donations these events would never get off the ground and also to those who attended and made it such a fun event.
I can tell you that we raised the impressive sum of £980.

Events:
Our next committee meeting will be Monday 14th January at 3.45 p.m. in the school library to plan events for the coming term. If you have any ideas or suggestions for new events please mention them to your class rep or better still come along to the meeting.
The current committee members would welcome ‘fresh blood’ and any help you can offer. Please note your child(ren) will be cared for in ‘after school club’ at no charge while you attend the meeting.
